12/18（土）、アジア太平洋バプテスト連合のクリスマス動画が配信されました。
預言者イザヤは「闇の中を歩む民は、大いなる光を見／死の陰のの地に住む者の上に、光が輝いた」（イザヤ書9・1）と書き記しています。
この光は世界に喜びをもたらすものです。 イギリスの牧師であり讃美歌作家であるアイザック・ワッツは、1719年「もろびとこぞりて」を作りました（ルカ２・10～11)。
私たちは新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の困難にありますが、そのような中にあってもこの喜びを分かち合いましょう。
Prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 9:2, ‘The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness — on them light has shined.’
This light brings joy to the world. Isaac Watts in 1719 penned this hymn, “Joy to the World; The Lord is come”.(Luke 2:10-11).
